  • Volunteers are needed in Long Term Care Facilities:
    • To assist Recreational Therapies with individual and group activities (crafts, woodworking, baking, birthday parties etc.)
    • As friendly visitors
    • To assist fundraising activities
    • To be “on call” for outings, picnics, special events, shopping trips, etc.
    • To assist with lunch/supper programs
    • For pet therapy
    • For the Intergenerational Program (Parent-Tot and Adopt a Grandparent programs).
    • Physiotherapy helpers
  • Volunteers are needed in Acute Care Facilities:
    • To be “on call” to accompany Patients/clients on appointments
    • For Palliative Care
    • To assist with the traveling suitcase
    • To knit finger puppets
    • For hospital tours
    • For the Youth Volunteer program
    • To deliver magazines to patients
    • For Recreation Therapy programs/activities as needed.
    • Music Therapy
  • Volunteers are needed for Home Care:
    • Meals on Wheels
