Courses
Career Development 9
Throughout the year, students create a career portfolio by collecting artifacts and writing reflections. Students also create Career Cruising and Student Counsellor software accounts, particpate in self assessment quizes and research a career of their choice. Each student is also expected to particpate in Take Our Kids To Work Day. The students also investigate courses offered in high school and develop an action plan for a preferred future.
Apprenticeship 20 & 30
Students enroll by gaining employment under the supervision of a journeyperson in a designated trade. the student must acquire 100 hours to receive a credit for each course.
Career & Work Exploration A30 & B30
Students develop skills in career exploration, job search techniques, employer/employee relations, and worker health and safety.
