Mock Job Interview

Grade 12 students participate in a mock job interview to increase their awareness of cover letter standards, resume standards, job interview skills and employment procedures.

1) Each student will be asked to select one of three job options for the mock job interview.

2) Students will receive information about cover letters, resumes and interviews.

3) Students will create a cover letter and resume based on the job option they selected.

4) Students must submit a copy of their cover letter and resume to their teacher.

5) Students particpate in a 20 – 30 minute mock job interview and then receive feedback.
