SAT/ACT
If there is a chance that you planning to attend a college or university in the United States of America, it is important to start preparing yourself for either the SAT or ACT. It is recommended that you take the test in Grade 11 and in Grade 12 to try to improve your score, if necessary.
The SAT test has three components: Critical Reasoning, Mathematics and a required Writing Test.
The ACT has five components: English, Mathematics, Reading, Science and an optional Writing Test.

Not sure what test to take? Research your destination school to determine which test is recommended; however, it is becoming more acceptable for colleges to accept both tests.
It is also important to know that how they are scored is different as well. The SAT takes off points for wrong answers which is considered a correction for guessing.
