French Opportunities
Explore (5-Week French-Language Bursary Program)
Enjoy five weeks of learning, adventure, friendship and discovery in another region of Canada while learning French. It is an exceptional program that will assist the beginner, intermediate and advanced French-speaking individual. This is a great opportunity for students who want to pursue their post-secondary education in French or to become a French Immersion teacher.
This summer program runs for six weeks and is aimed at students who are 16 and 17 years of age. The goal of the program is for participants to find jobs in another province to work on their second official language. Participants will be set up with a host family over the course of the program.

Are you between the ages of 15 and 19 with an interest in how the Canadian parliamentary system of government functions? This program gives students from all across Canada a chance to come to Ottawa to learn about the role of Parliament and the dynamics of the decision-making process.
