Students who will be attending a Saskatchewan-based post-secondary program that is associated with the Pulse Industry or Agriculture (Agriculture, Natural Science, Engineering, Nutrition) and have a parent who is a registered pulse producer may apply for one of five scholarships, valued at $5000, sponsored by the Saskatchewan Pulse Growers. This award valued at $1000 is available to young women between the ages of 18 – 35 years who have been involved in social justice activities. Contact Mrs. McLeod in Student Services for more information or Mary Nordick at m.nordick@sasktel.net. The deadline to apply is April 30th.
The Kinsmen Club of Prince Albert will be awarding two $2000 bursaries to two Grade 12 students who will be attending a post-secondary institute in 2012-2013 year. Applicants will be selected based on the following criteria: knowledge of the Kinsmen Club, financial need, community involvement, academic standing. The deadline to apply is May 4th. U-Start is facilitated by the U of S and will assist new students and their parents with registering for classes, organizing class schedules, housing options, transition programs and more. The session will be held on Monday, May 28th at St. Mary High School in the Theatre from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Grad photos will be taken Monday, March 12th – Thursday, March 16th in the Lecture Theatre. Please contact Mrs. Kopchynski if you are not able to keep your scheduled time.
