Opening Doors to Tomorrow Career & Job Fair Bursary

The Opening Door to Tomorrow Career and Job Fair Bursary is open to Grade 12 students (Saskatchewan Rivers, Prince Albert Catholic, Saskatchewan Polytech) or an employee (Saskatchewan Health Authority, Prince Albert Community Futures, City of Prince Albert). Applicants must be accepted to attend a post-secondary education institution, including apprenticeship. Bourses D’ Études: Canadian Parents for French – 9e à 12e

Cette année, Canadian Parents for French – Prince Albert Chapter a le plaisir d’offrir des bourses d’études pour 1 élève pour chaque niveau scolaire. Cette bourse d’études est destinée à un ou une élève qui démontre une valorisation importante de la langue française et un sens du leadership dans la communauté. Nouveau, cette année, il y a une bourse par niveau. 100 $ pour la 9e année, 100 $ pour la 10e année, 300 $ pour la 11e année et 500 $ pour la 12e année. Notez que le formulaire pour les 9e et les 10e années est identique, mais une bourse est offerte respectivement pour chaque niveau. Les formulaires pour chaque niveau sont disponibles ici: CPF_public La date limite pour soumettre les formulaires est le 29 mai 2026. KIN Canada Bursary: $1,000

The Kin Canada Bursary is open to any student who is in the process of graduating from high school or currently studying, or registered, at a post-secondary institution. Applicants will be evaluated on their community and school involvement, knowledge of Kin Canada (Kinsmen, Kinettes and Kin Clubs) and financial need. The application form must be submitted by Sunday, February 1st, 2026 and winners will be notified before June 30th by their sponsoring club. Lake Country Co-op Student Bursary Program

Lake Country Co-op Student Bursary Program is offering three $2,500 bursaries to secondary schools within the trading area. To be eligible, the student must be: a grade 12 student graduating in 2026 and enrolled in full-time studies at a University, Post-Secondary Institution, or Technical Institute for the fall 2026 term; a permanent resident in the Lake Country Co-op trading area; a Lake Country Co-op Member (parent/guardian membership will be accepted); and willing to allow Lake Country Co-op to use submissions for advertising purposes. Applicants will be evaluated based on involvement in school and community activities, as well as the successful completion of grade 12, and acceptance in post-secondary studies. To be considered, the application requires the completion of the questions, as well as a written essay and a video submission. Written Essay Question: What can Lake Country Co-op do to better serve the youth of our communities and encourage their involvement in the local Co-op? (minimum 200 words) Video Question: What positive impact has Lake Country Co-op had in your community? ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION: Jack Moore Memorial Scholarship/Burgess Bursary

Saskatchewan Command is offering 10 Scholarships and 10 Bursaries of $500 each. Students may apply for a Scholarship, a Bursary, or both. Scholarships and Bursaries are awarded based on Grade 12 academic performance using the Transcript of Secondary Level Achievement (Gr. 12 departmental marks). In addition, Bursaries are awarded based on financial need. MADD CANADA: Bursary Program $10,000

MADD Canada is a national charitable organization committed to stopping impaired driving and supporting victims. One bursary of $10,000 (The Louise Joanne Twerdy Leadership Bursary) will be awarded and additional bursaries in the amount of $5,000 may also be awarded. MADD Canada’s Bursary Program is open to Canadian citizens who have themselves been severely injured or who have had a parent (or legal guardian) or sibling killed or severely injured, as a result of an impaired driving crash. The applicant must also be enrolled in a full-time, ministry-approved, post-secondary educational program for the upcoming academic year. The application deadline is Friday, May 31st. Additional information, and an application form, is available at  https://madd.ca/pages/programs/victimsurvivor-services/youth-bursary-fund/

Cassidy Grimm Memorial Bursary: Education

This $500 bursary is awarded in June of each year to one recipient. Applicants need to be a Saskatchewan resident accepted into, or already attending, a post-secondary school in Saskatchewan, for the purpose of achieving a Bachelor of Education Degree. Additional information is available here To qualify for this bursary, you must submit:

  • a brief essay describing why you are going into Education and you’re your passion for teaching focuses on;
  • a brief biography describing who you are and what makes you, you;
  • a short explanation as to why you are applying for this particular bursary
  • and, in brief, your financial need.

Gladys Strom Memorial Bursary

The Gladys Strom Memorial Bursary is open to local students to assist with the costs of their music education (lessons, music camp, courses etc.). Mrs. Gladys Strom was a member and director of the Watsonairs for over 50 years. After her passing in 2006, the Watsonairs created a bursary in her name for the Prince Albert Music Festival. To apply, send a paragraph to pamusicfestival@gmail.com indicating the following: name, email address, phone number, instrument you play, why music is important to you, and how you intend to use the bursary (Music lessons, music camp registration etc.) The application deadline is Thursday, May 1st, 2025.
