U of S Residence Applications

Applications to live in the University of Saskatchewan (USask) Residences for Fall 2019 are now open. Students should apply to live in Residence as early as possible. Applications are considered on a first come, first served basis, regardless of students’ admission status.
First year students
Students entering their first year of studies at USask will receive guaranteed placement at Voyageur Place Residence if they apply for Residence before January 31, 2019.
How to apply for Residence
1) Log into PAWS using your NSID and password that you receive when you apply for admission.
2) Type Residence into the PAWS search bar. The Residence PAWS channel will appear.
3) Create a Residence account. Once your account is complete, you will be redirected to the Residence Housing Portal to compete your application.

U of R Admission-On-The-Spot

The University of Regina is hosting an Admission-On-The-Spot and Info Night Tuesday, February 5th, 2019. The come-and-go event runs from 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Prince Albert Exhibition Ground (East Room & West Room). Complete your application and receive:

  • Admission on the spot – you must have a school transcript
  • Free limited edition U of R mittens

U of O: Canadian Classics Video Competition (Gr 9-12)

The University of Ottawa video competition aims to highlight topics from the Graeco-Roman world. Students in Grades 9-12 who are between the ages of 14 and 18 are encouraged to submit a video in English or French. Possible subjects include: ‘Why did the Persians invade Greece?’, ‘A day at the racetrack in ancient Rome’, a work of literature (a play by Euripides, a poem by Ovid) or a work of ancient art (vase, coin, statue). A prize of $500 will be offered for the best entry, with two runner-up prizes of $200. The best entries will also be posted on the website dedicated to the annual competition. Schulich Leader Scholarship

The Schulich Leader Scholarship is a prestigious entrance scholarship awarded to a high school graduate enrolling in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) program at partner universities. The nominated student has the opportunity to win a $100,000 or $80,000 scholarship. The criteria includes: academic excellence, leadership, and financial need.  École St. Mary High School can nominate one candidate and nomination is competitive. Please provide a list of school/community involvement, leadership activities, and a statement about financial need to Mrs.Rapin in Student Services by Monday, January 14, 2019 to be considered for nomination.
