Grade 11 Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall Scholarship

The Government of Saskatchewan will be awarding up to 20 scholarships of $500 each. The scholarships are warded annually to qualified nominees currently registered in Grade 11 at a Saskatchewan high school. The completed nomination form (including a portfolio outline) and a letter of nomination outlining how the student being nominated fits the criteria must be submitted to the selection committee by March 15, 2015.

The selection committee will review all nominations received, and will select qualified winners for both scholarships based on the following criteria:

1. Leadership
2. Responsibilities out of school
3. Financial support needed
4. Academic performance

Each scholarship applicant submission must be complete and include the following:

1. A completed nomination form
2. A letter of nomination from the school leadership team
3. A student portfolio

All winning and non-winning nominees will be notified following the review process in the spring of each year. Recipients will receive a congratulatory letter from the Minister of Education before the end of the school year in which they were nominated. The successful award winners will receive their scholarship after registering for Grade 12 in the fall.
