The Diverse Minds Creative Writing Competition involves writing and illustrating a children’s book about diversity and inclusion that is geared to children between the ages of five to ten. The book can be written in either of the two official languages (English or French) or it can be written as a bilingual book. Students can work on their own or in pairs – where one student is illustrating and one writing. The competition is open to all high-school students across Canada, and is a wonderful opportunity for high school students to become a published author and win up to $5,000! Cash prizes will be awarded to the first, second and third place winners, as well as a bonus of $250 for the teachers of the finalists!! Students can submit their books until April 16, 2023.
