National Union of Public and General Employee Scholarships ($1500)

March 2nd, 2015

This scholarship is open to grade 12 students who are planning on attending a post-secondary education institution full-time in 2015 – 2016 and who are the children, grandchildren or foster children of a NUPGE member. Please see a counselor in Student Services or go to www.nupge.ca/scholarships for information and application forms for The Tommy Douglas Scholarship, The Terry Fox Memorial Scholarship, The Scholarship for Aboriginal Canadians, and The Scholarship for Visible minorities. The deadline to apply is July 6th, 2015.

 

U of R Entrance Awards

March 2nd, 2015

The Saskatchewan Agriculture Student Scholarship

March 2nd, 2015

One winning scholarship valued at $4,000 and three runner-up scholarships valued at $2,000 will be awarded to students enrolling in an agriculture-related post-secondary program in the fall 2015. The Future is Yours Career Expo

The Saskatoon Tribal Council is hosting this expo at Prairieland Park in Saskatoon. Students can visit http:ééwww.thefutureisyours.caéindex.htm to preregister. Saskatchewan Scholarships

The Government of Saskatchewan is committed to students and has more than $275,000 available to support secondary and post-secondary education. These scholarships include the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall Scholarship, as well as the Queen`s Diamond Jubilee Scholarship. Opening Doors to Tomorrow Scholarship and Bursary $500

Any Grade 12 student who will be furthering their education after graduation with on of the past or present Opening Doors to Tomorrow career and job fair displayers may apply. Financial need, achievements, community involvement, and future career plans will be taken into consideration. Contact Mr. Gaumond in Student Services for more information.

 

Schulich Leader Scholarship $80,000

December 10th, 2014

Any Grade 12 student who is planning to attend university in the fall of 2015 and will be studying in the area of Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics, may be interested in being nominated for this scholarship. U of S Competitive Entrance Awards

Students who have applied to the U of S may begin to apply online for these awards. The deadline to apply is February 15th, 2015.

 

Forum for Young Canadians

Forum brings students to Ottawa and immerses them in national politics and public affairs.
