Saskatchewan Pulse Growers Scholarship

May 9th, 2014

Students who will be attending a Saskatchewan-based post-secondary program that is associated with the Pulse Industry or Agriculture (Natural Sciences, Engineering, Nutrition etc.) and have a parent who is a registered pulse producer may apply for one of five scholarships, valued at $5000 each, sponsored by Saskatchewan Pulse Growers. Prince Albert and District Community Scholarships

The Tillie and Joe Kawula Scholarship($1,000) and The Hershel Davidner Memorial Scholarship($1,000)  will be awarded to two graduating Grade 12 students  entering a post secondary school. These scholarships are open to Grade 12 graduates from S.R.S.Division and P.A.R.C.S.Division. The deadline to apply is May 30th, 2014. St Mary High School Awards

Grade 12 Transcripts

April 10th, 2014

Grade 12 students who are planning to attend a post-secondary institution in September 2014 will need to have their high school transcripts sent by the Ministry of Education to that institution. Students may order a transcript online at www.education.gov.sk.ca/transcripts. Please see a counselor in Student Services if you have any questions.

U of S Academic Advisor

April 10th, 2014

Grade 12 students who have registered to attend the U of S this fall will have the opportunity to meet with a U of S Academic Advisor on Thursday, May 29th. The advisor will be at the school from 9:00 a.m. to 3:25 p.m. The advisor will assist with course selection and answer any other questions you may have. Students must sign up by Tuesday, May 27th to meet with the advisor. Please see Mrs. McLeod in Student Services to book an appointment.

The Catholic Women’s League of Canada Award

This award is open to young women between the ages of 18 – 35 years of age who have been involved in social justice activities. Superannuated Teachers Scholarship

Superannuated Teachers of Saskatchewan Prince Albert Chapter Scholarship will be awarded to a graduating Grade 12 student from a Prince Albert high school who has been accepted to a Saskatchewan Teacher Education Program. U of S U-Start 2014

April 2nd, 2014

U-Start 2014 will be held on Thursday, May 22nd at St. Mary High School in the Theatre from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. The U-Start session is facilitated by the U of S and will show new students and their parents how to  register for their classes, organize class schedules, housing options, transitions programs, and more. Students may go online and register with the U of S for the U-Start session.

SIAST at St. Mary High School

April 2nd, 2014

On Tuesday, April 15th Christine Nemish from SIAST will be in the St. Mary High School Commons during Parent/Teacher/Student interviews from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. to meet with interested students and parents about the admission process and programs at SIAST.
