The Loran Award seeks to recognize students who demonstrate character, leadership, and commitment and service to the community. Approximately 30 Loran Awards are available at up to $80,000. U of S Aboriginal Program Learning Communities

Saskatchewan School Boards Association Education Scholarships

June 5th, 2013

Two $2,500 scholarships are awarded to graduating Saskatchewan high school students who remain in Saskatchewan in post-secondary study. Recipients are selected on the basis of demonstrating good character, community leadership, financial need, and a 500-word essay. The application deadline is August 31st, 2013. Jack Moore Memorial and Burgess Bursaries

U of S Academic Adviser Appointments

May 15th, 2013

Grade 12 students who have registered to attend the U of S this fall will have the opportunity to meet with a U of S Academic Adviser on Thursday, May 23rd. He will be here from 9:00 am to 3:25 pm.The adviser will help you with course selection and any other questions you may have. You must sign up by or before Tuesday, May 21st to meet with him. Please see Mrs. McLeod in student services to sign up.

 

U of S Medicine Presentation

May 15th, 2013

First Year U of S Medicine Students will be presenting at St. Mary High School in the Chapel on Monday, May 27th during Period 2. Students in Grade 9 – 12 who are interested in a medical career may want to attend this presentation. You will find out about the details of medical school, as well as how you can work towards achieving that goal. Students who plan to attend require a “pink permission form” from Student Services. U of R Campus-Wide Open House

This day-long event on Friday, May 10th is open to new and future students so Grade 11 students are welcome to attend. Students are invited to stay FREE in the residence facilities. Saskatchewan Pulse Growers Scholarship

Students who are attending a Saskatchewan-based post-secondary program that is associated with the Pulse Industry or Agriculture (example: Natural Sciences, Engineering, Nutrition, Agriculture) and have a parent who is a registered pulse producer may apply for one of five scholarships valued at $5000. U of S Prince Albert Campus

A U of S Prince Albert Campus Counselor will be in the Commons at St. Mary High School during Parent/teacher/Student Interviews on Thursday, April 25th from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Joanne Marchand, a U of S Prince Albert Campus Counselor will answer admission questions and provide information about course selections etc.
