Community Futures Scholarship

“How to Improve Your Community Competition” is open to Grade 12 students. Interested students are to create a written plan for a community development iniative. Encounters With Canada

Encounters With Canada is a leadership program that brings high school students from across Canada together for a one-week stay in Ottawa. Saskatchewan Advantage Scholarship: Automatic Acceptance

Every Saskatchewan Grade 12 graduate who enrols in a Saskatchewan post-secondary institution will have up to $500 per year, to a maximum of $2000, reduced from the tuition. Students who begin their studies on or after August 1, 2012 will not need to apply for this scholarship, as their post-secondary institution will apply on their behalf. U of S Academic Advisor

May 8th, 2012

Grade 12 students who have registered to attend the U of S this fall will have the opportunity to meet with a U of S Academic Advisor on Monday, May 28th. He will be at SMHS from 9:00 a.m. to 3:25 p.m. The advisor will assist with course selection and answer questions. To meet with the advisor, students must sign up with Mrs. McLeod in Student Services before Wednesday, May 23rd.
