High School students who are interested in applying to the College of Nursing must do so at the Saskatchewan Polytechnic website at http://www.sasknursingdegree.ca/scbscn/apply-now/. The deadline to apply is February 15^th, 2017.

Students applying to the College of Education must select the Teacher Education Application Profile (TEAP) when starting the online application process. Students can review the TEAP before completing the online application at http://www.uregina.ca/education/future-students/how-to-apply.html , or attend an application workshop on Thursday, December 1^st at 6:00 p.m. The deadline to apply is March 1^st 2017.

The annual U-Start registration workshops for new U of S students will be held Saturday, May 14, 2016 (2 pm – 5 pm) and Thursday, June 2, 2016 (6 pm – 8pm) at St. Mary High School. The workshops will give new students an introduction to the tools and information they need to prepare for university. Topics will cover:

• ​How to choose and register for classes
• How to use online tools like PAWS and course/program catalogue
• How to pay tuition, find a place to live, and buy textbooks

Mitchinson Flight Centre in Saskatoon is excited to announce that it will be operating a Satellite School in Prince Albert this spring. Anyone interested in training to become a pilot can visit http://flymitchinson.com/our-services/pa-satellite-school-new for more information.

Both a male and female student will be presented with a $1500 award at St Mary Grad 2016. The criteria for the award is as follows: outstanding contributions, financial need, and academics. The deadline to apply is Monday, April 4^th at 3:30 p.m. Application forms are available online at http://bit.ly/SMHSGradAwards . Please note that a digital photo, of the applicant doing an activity this year, must also be submitted to the main office with the completed application form.

A Student Recruitment Advisor from Saskatchewan Polytechnic will be at St. Mary High School on Wednesday, March 2^nd, 2016. She will be available to meet with students during the lunch hour and Period 4. Please see Mrs. Rapin in Student Services if you are interested.

Grade 12 students who have registered to attend the U of S this fall in Arts and Science will have the opportunity to meet with a U of S Academic Advisor on Friday, May 15^th. He will be here from 9:00 a.m. to 3:25 p.m.The advisor will help students with course selection and any other questions. Students must sign up by or before Tuesday, May 13^th to meet with him.
