SaskTel Indigenous Youth Awards: Gr 9-12

The SaskTel Indigenous Youth Awards of Excellence recognize youth achievement in the following categories: Outstanding Academic Achievement, Leadership, Culture & Community, Sports/Recreation, and Arts & Science. Applicants can apply in multiple categories but can only win once. Eligibility criteria includes: must be of First Nations, Metis, or Inuit ancestry; must be between 14 and 18 years of age as of June 28, 2025; must be a resident of Saskatchewan and a registered student in Saskatchewan; must be able to demonstrate outstanding commitment and/or ability in one of the award categories (2 reference letters are required with current contact information for each reference as they will be contacted). The deadline for applications is Thursday, April 30, 2026. The awards event will be held Friday, June 5, 2026.
