2014 Karthiha Guruparan and Bill Winsor Scholarships

Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities

The Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities 90th Anniversary Student Scholarship is available to Grade 12 students who are planning on studying at a Post Secondary Institution in the fall of 2014. Applications must be postmarked on or before February 7th, 2014. Two $1500 scholarships in agricultural safety and rural health will be awarded. U of A Academic Excellence Scholarship

If you are planning to attend the University of Albert in September 2014, and have final admission average of 85% or higher, you are guaranteed to receive $1000 or more! No application is required! U of S Greystone Scholars Society

Grade 12 students who have an average of 95% or higher, based on a five-subject formula, are eligible for admission into the Greystone Scholars Society. Among the many perks is a $3000 Guaranteed Entrance Scholarship. Successful candidates will be invited to join the program and notified of acceptance following the submission of their application for admission, application fee and preliminary statement of marks. Loran Award

The Loran Award seeks to recognize students who demonstrate character, leadership, and commitment and service to the community. Approximately 30 Loran Awards are available at up to $80,000. Saskatchewan School Boards Association Education Scholarships

Two $2,500 scholarships are awarded to graduating Saskatchewan high school students who remain in Saskatchewan in post-secondary study. Recipients are selected on the basis of demonstrating good character, community leadership, financial need, and a 500-word essay. The application deadline is August 31st, 2013. Jack Moore Memorial and Burgess Bursaries

Saskatchewan Pulse Growers Scholarship

Students who are attending a Saskatchewan-based post-secondary program that is associated with the Pulse Industry or Agriculture (example: Natural Sciences, Engineering, Nutrition, Agriculture) and have a parent who is a registered pulse producer may apply for one of five scholarships valued at $5000. Saskatchewan Safety Council: Les Donnelly Scholarship – $2000
