Ten $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to students enrolling in an agriculture-related post0secondary program in the fall of 2013. Applications must be postmarked by March 1st, 2013. Please see Mrs. McLeod in Student Services for an application form or go to www.agriculture.gov.sk.ca/scholarship
Twenty awards of $5000 each will be presented to graduating students from across Canada who have demonstrated outstanding environmental commitment, community service and leadership, and have maintained a high level of academic achievement. Also, a national winner will receive a Panasonic notebook computer. Go to www.earthday.ca/scholarship or see Mrs. McLeod in Student Services for more information. Completed applications must be received by February 15th, 2013.
TD Scholarships are open to students across Canada who are in Grade 12 and have demonstrated outstanding community leadership. For additional information, contact Mrs. McLeod in Student Services or go to www.td.com/scholarship The application deadline is December 7th, 2012.
Every Saskatchewan Grade 12 graduate who enrols in a Saskatchewan post-secondary institution will have up to $500 per year, to a maximum of $2000, reduced from the tuition. Students who begin their studies on or after August 1, 2012 will not need to apply for this scholarship, as their post-secondary institution will apply on their behalf. Grade 12 students who are enrolled in a university or college program may apply for the Les Donnelly Scholarship valued at $2000. The deadline for applications is May 31st, 2012. For more information, please visit www.sasksafety.org or contact Mrs. McLeod.
The Garfield Weston Award recognizes college-bound students who are passionate about their field of study, are community-minded and are committed to being involved and making a difference in society. A $1000 scholarship is available for a gradating student who is entering a Business program at the U of S, the U of R, or SIAST. The application deadline is July 31st. Please contact Mrs. McLeod for application details.
Any Grade 12 student with an average of 80% or higher may apply for this bursary. For more information, or to apply, please go to www.sasktel.com/careers or contact Mrs. McLeod in Student Services. The deadline for applications is Satrday, March 10th.
Any Grade 12 student who is planning to attend university in the fall of 2012 and will be studying in the area of science, technology, engineering, or mathematics, may be interested in being nominated for this scholarship.
