Saskatchewan Pulse Growers Scholarship

Students who will be attending a Saskatchewan-based post-secondary program that is associated with the Pulse Industry or Agriculture (Agriculture, Natural Science, Engineering, Nutrition) and have a parent who is a registered pulse producer may apply for one of five scholarships, valued at $5000, sponsored by the Saskatchewan Pulse Growers. Catholic Women’s League of Canada

This award valued at $1000 is available to young women between the ages of 18 – 35 years who have been involved in social justice activities. Contact Mrs. McLeod in Student Services for more information or Mary Nordick at m.nordick@sasktel.net. The deadline to apply is April 30th.

U of S: U-Start 2012

U-Start is facilitated by the U of S and will assist new students and their parents with registering for classes, organizing class schedules, housing options, transition programs and more. The session will be held on Monday, May 28th at St. Mary High School in the Theatre from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.

University of Alberta Entrance Leadership Competition

This award recognizes students who combine academic achievement (minimum of 80% in Grade 11 and Grade 12) with outstanding leadership (SLC, team captain, yearbook, volunteering etc.) Applications are available on the U of A “Bear Tracks” or by emailing awards@ualberta.ca

Last Day for Semester 1 Course Changes

Tuesday, September 6th is the last day Grade 10, 11 and 12 students may request a course change. The student must meet with a guidance counsellor, complete a form, obtain parental permission and return course textbooks to the library.

TD Scholarships for Community Leadership
