A Student Recruitment Advisor from Saskatchewan Polytechnic will be at St. Mary High School on Wednesday, March 2^nd, 2016. She will be available to meet with students during the lunch hour and Period 4. Please see Mrs. Rapin in Student Services if you are interested.

Are you the next great artist?  The National Gallery of Canada is featuring a contest that can get your art work displayed in the national spotlight.  Check it out at www.soyouwanttobeanartist.ca/en/  or see Ms. Charlebois-Rinas in the Art Room.  The deadline to enter is October 5th, 2015.

Grade 12 students who have registered to attend the U of S this fall in Arts and Science will have the opportunity to meet with a U of S Academic Advisor on Friday, May 15^th. He will be here from 9:00 a.m. to 3:25 p.m.The advisor will help students with course selection and any other questions. Students must sign up by or before Tuesday, May 13^th to meet with him. Please see Mrs. Rapin in Student Services to sign-up.

Grade 12 students who are planning to attend a Post Secondary Institution in September 2015 will need their high school transcripts sent by the Ministry of Education. You may order your transcript online by going to www.education.gov.sk.ca/transcripts. Please see Mrs. Rapin in Student Services, if you have any questions.

If you have a final admission average of 90% or higher and are planning to enter the U of A in September 2015, you are guaranteed to receive $1,000 or more. Please go to admissions.ualberta.ca and click on ‘money matters’.

This scholarship is open to grade 12 students who are planning on attending a post-secondary education institution full-time in 2015 – 2016 and who are the children, grandchildren or foster children of a NUPGE member. Please see a counselor in Student Services or go to www.nupge.ca/scholarships for information and application forms for The Tommy Douglas Scholarship, The Terry Fox Memorial Scholarship, The Scholarship for Aboriginal Canadians, and The Scholarship for Visible minorities. The deadline to apply is July 6^th, 2015.
