U of R Open House

Grade 12 students interested in attending the University of Regina Fall Open House can do so Saturday, October 18th, 2014. Information can be found at www.uregina.ca/futurestudents or they can see a guidance counselor in Student Services for information.

SUITL Presentations: Thursday, October 30th

U of S, U of R, Saskatchewan Polytechnic, Lakeland College, Sask. Apprenticeship, Canadian Forces, and First Nations University will be at St. Mary High School on Thursday, October 30th. Presentations will be held during period 2 and 3. Students can sign up in their English classes starting October 20th or see a guidance counselor in Student Services. Presenters will also have booths set up over the lunch hour in the Commons.

U of S Engineering, Business, and Kinesiology Early Admissions deadline

Tuesday, October 21st, 2014

Students can apply to the University of Saskatchewan and be conditionally admitted to Business, Engineering or Kinesiology with 90%+ admission average. Students must complete online application, application fee and preliminary statement of marks by December 1, 2014. See a Guidance Counselor in Student Services for more information.

Agriculture Student Scholarship

For Grade 12 students considering a career in agriculture, the Ministry of Agriculture offers one scholarship valued at $4,000 and three runner-up scholarships valued ae $2,000. Students must be entering agriculture – related studies. The deadline to submit an application is March 1, 2015. TD Scholarships for Community Leadership $70,000

TD Scholarships are open to students across Canada who are in grade 12 and have demonstrated outstanding community leadership. Please see Mrs. Rapin in Student Services or got to www.td.com/scholarship .The application deadline is November 28th, 2014.

U of S Best & Brightest Entrance Scholarships

Grade 12 students applying to the U of S with an average of 90% or higher (based on a 5 subject formula) are eligible for the Best and Brightest scholarship. Application for admissions, transcripts, and other admissions documents must be completed before December 1, 2014. Please see a counselor in student services for more information.

See Our Future – Education and Career Fair

This event will be held on Monday, November 3rd, 2014 at TCU Place in Saskatoon. Students will have the opportunity to explore educational opportunities, examine career paths, and plan vocational goals. Over 120 exhibitors will participate. RE/MAX of Western Canada Quest for Excellence 2015 Bursary Program

RE/MAX is offering sixteen $1000 bursaries to Grade 12 students. This program recognizes the success and ongoing pursuits of Western Canadian students who demonstrate leadership and community contribution initiatives.
