Women in Trades: Millwright & Welding

The Industrial Mechanics (Millwright) & Welding Workshop is Saturday, April 13th and Sunday, April 14th from 9 am – 4 pm at the Saskatchewan Polytechnic Prince Albert Campus. The cost is $150 for women age 15 and older. During the Industrial Mechanics (Millwright) portion, you will work with hand tools, some power tools and metal to manufacture your own take home project. During the Welding portion, you will learn to assemble, tack and weld steel, use assorted shaping methods and machinery as well as use cleaning, finishing, and cutting tools. CSA approved steel toe safety footwear is recommended.
