Opening Doors to Tomorrow Career Fair

The Opening Doors to Tomorrow Career Fair is being held at the Art Hauser Center on Wednesday, October 15th (Day 2). The benefit of this career/job fair cannot be overstated for students. Students in Grade 9 are meeting career education outcomes by attending, as well as planning what classes to take once in Grade 10-12 to best meet their career ambitions. For the students in Grade 10-12, the connection is clear, as these students are on the cusp of graduating and have some significant decisions ahead of them. All Grade 9 classes will be attending. Grade 10-12 students who are interested in attending will need to sign up as there is limited space for bussing. Grade 10-12 students who are interested in attending are to complete the registration form by Tuesday, September 23rd at noon.

PA SaskPolytech Open House

Take control of your future and make your connection at our Prince Albert Open House on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at the PA Campus, Technical Building on 1100 15th St E. At the Open House, prospective students and their parents can learn more about: programs and opportunities,  applications and admission processes, scholarships/ awards/bursaries,  and services for students

This event is open to high school students from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm. (Students must find their own transportation, have a parent excuse them from school for the afternoon and register via the link Open House). This event is open to students and the public from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.

USask Indigenous Student Experience Day

This event is for Métis, First Nations and Inuit Students and their supporters to get to know the USask campus and community. Women in Trades Workshops

The Women in Trades Workshops at SaskpolyTech in Prince Albert are a hands-on, one-weekend career exploration opportunity for women ages 15+ offering an introduction to a variety of basic skills. The cost for each weekend is $150.00.
The Carpentry/Electrical Workshop is on March 29- 30, 2025.
The Industrial Mechanics/Welding Workshop is on April 12-13, 2025.

U of S: Bookings for Q&A Chat

Students have the opportunity to book 20-minute appointments with a USask representative regarding questions about becoming a USask student: admission requirements, scholarships, housing etc. Appointments are available every Wednesday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm and/or every Friday from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm by booking an appointment here.

U of S: Scholarships Information Virtual Session

On Tuesday, January 28th, from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm, students have the opportunity to learn more about scholarship opportunities for new undergraduate students, including how to apply for USask’s Competitive Entrance Awards. These awards include numerous scholarships and bursaries valued between $500-$32,000 that can be accessed by many students with diverse experiences.
