U of S Prince Albert Campus

A U of S Prince Albert Campus Counselor will be in the Commons at St. Mary High School during Parent/teacher/Student Interviews on Thursday, April 25th from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Joanne Marchand, a U of S Prince Albert Campus Counselor will answer admission questions and provide information about course selections etc.

University of Saskatchewan: U – Start 2013

U – Start 2013 will be held on Thursday, May 9th at St. Mary High School in the Lecture Theatre from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. The U-Start session will be facilitated by the U of S and will show new students and their parents how to register for their classes, organize class schedules, housing options, transportation programs, and more.

U of R Admissions Workshop in Prince Albert

Grade 12 students who are interested in attending the U of R may be interested in attending the U of R Admissions on the Spot Workshop. It will be held on Wednesday, February 27th from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Carlton Comprehensive School in the library.

U of S Admission and Awards Workshop at SMHS

The University of Saskatchewan will be holding a an admissions and awards workshop for students at St. Mary High School on Tuesday, January 15th. The workshop will be held during Period 4 in Computer Room 229. A recruitment officer from the U of S will be attendance to answer questions about U of S programs, services, awards, scholarships and bursaries and to show the students how to apply online for admission and the Competetive Entrance Awards. The deadline to apply for Competetive Entrance Awards is Friday, February 15th, 2013. Students must get permission from their Period 4 teacher to attend. A pink “out of class” form may be picked up at Student Services. Please see a counselor in Student Services if you have any questions.

SIAST Medical Diagnostic

The Saskatoon Health Region and the SIAST Medical Diagnostics Department are hosting an information session for anyone interested in learning more about Medical Diagnostic professions including: Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technology, Cytotechnology, Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, Magnetic Resonance Technologist, Medical Laboratory Assistant, Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Radiologic Technology, and Nuclear Medicine Technologist. U of R Off-Campus Education Program

Cumberland College in Nipawin offers the U of R Education Program. Students may take the complete four-year Elementary program in Nipawin. On Thursday, November 8th, Rebecca Cross from Cumberland College will be at St. Mary High School during Parent/Teacher/Student interviews. Any students and parents who are interested in learning more about the program and the admission process are invited to meet with her.
