University of Regina Entrance Awards and scholarship information is available at www.uregina.ca/futurestudents/money-matters/ The deadline for applications is March 15th, 2012.

Students who have an average of 95% or higher in Grade 10, Grade 11, or Grade 12, and are planning to attend the U of A in the fall of 2012, are encouraged to apply for this scholarship. Additional information is available by visiting  the U of A “Bear Tracks” website or emailing awards@ualberta.ca The deadline for applications is February 15th, 2012.

Students interested in attending the University of Waterloo Faculty of Mathematics are encouraged to apply for the CIBC National Scholarship ($25,000) and the Descartes National Scholarship ($12,000 – $18,000). Ten $1000 scholarships will be awarded to students enrolling in fall 2012 agriculture-related post-secondary programs. For additional information, please visit www.agriculture.gov.sk.ca/scholarship or contact Mrs. McLeod. Applications must be post-marked by February 15th, 2012.

Students who have a parent/foster parent who belongs to the National Union of Public and General Employees may apply for various scholarships: The Tommy Douglas Scholarship, The Terry Fox Memorial Scholarship, The Scholarship for Aboriginal Canadians, and The Scholarship for Visible Minorities. Twenty awards of $5000 each will be presented to graduating students from across Canada who have demonstrated outstanding environmental commitment, community service and leadership, and have maintained a high level of academic achievement.
