House of Commons Page Program

Pages are first-year post-secondary students who work part-time at the House of Commons. They provide important services to Members of Parliament in the Chamber and participate in special events around Parliament Hill. This is an opportunity for students to gain professional experience in a unique setting, advance their academic and career goals, and create lasting connections and memories. Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident;
  • be starting full-time or part-time post-secondary studies in September 2027 at one of the eligible post-secondary institutions in the National Capital Region;
  • be willing to reside in the National Capital Region during their year of employment; and
  • be able to communicate fluently in both official languages.
