Saskatchewan Agriculture Student Scholarship Program

November 14th, 2012

Ten $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to students enrolling in an agriculture-related post0secondary program in the fall of 2013. Applications must be postmarked by March 1st, 2013. Toyota Earth Day Scholarship Program

November 14th, 2012

Twenty awards of $5000 each will be presented to graduating students from across Canada who have demonstrated outstanding environmental commitment, community service and leadership, and have maintained a high level of academic achievement. Also, a national winner will receive a Panasonic notebook computer. Go to www.earthday.ca/scholarship or see Mrs. McLeod in Student Services for more information. U of S Competitive Entrance Awards

Students who have applied to the U of S may begin to apply online for Competitive Entrance Awards. Please see a counselor in Student Services if you have questions or need assistance. The deadline to apply for Competetive Entrance Awards is February 15th, 2013.

Terry Fox Humanitarian Award

This award recognizes humanitarian volunteer work. Students must demonstrate a strong performance in academics, athletics and volunteerism. The application deadline is February 1st, 2013. Application forms are available online at www.terryfoxawards.ca.

U of R Off-Campus Education Program

November 2nd, 2012

Cumberland College in Nipawin offers the U of R Education Program. Students may take the complete four-year Elementary program in Nipawin. On Thursday, November 8th, Rebecca Cross from Cumberland College will be at St. Mary High School during Parent/Teacher/Student interviews. Any students and parents who are interested in learning more about the program and the admission process are invited to meet with her.
