U of S Registration Workshop

The annual U-Start registration workshop for new U of S students will be held Wednesday, May 13th, 2015 at St. Mary High School. The workshop will give new students an introduction to the tools and information they need to prepare for university. Topics include:

  • How to choose and register for classes
  • How to use online tools like PAWS and course/program catalogue
  • How to pay tuition, find a place to live, and buy textbooks

Students who have been admitted to the U of S are encouraged to sign up online for the workshop or a webinar that works best for them! For more information, and to sign up, students may visit students.usask.ca/ustart. Also, if you have any questions, you may contact a guidance counsellor in Student Services. 

The Future is Yours Career Expo

The Saskatoon Tribal Council is hosting this expo at Prairieland Park in Saskatoon. Students can visit http:ééwww.thefutureisyours.caéindex.htm to preregister. Lakeland College Open House

See Our Future Education & Career Fair

This event will be held in Saskatoon on November 5th, 2013 at TCU Place. Students can explore educational opportunities, examine career paths and plan vocational goals. SUITL Presentations: Thursday, October 30th

U of S, U of R, Saskatchewan Polytechnic, Lakeland College, Sask. Apprenticeship, Canadian Forces, and First Nations University will be at St. Mary High School on Thursday, October 30th. Presentations will be held during period 2 and 3. Students can sign up in their English classes starting October 20th or see a guidance counselor in Student Services. Presenters will also have booths set up over the lunch hour in the Commons.

U of S U-Start 2014

U-Start 2014 will be held on Thursday, May 22nd at St. Mary High School in the Theatre from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. The U-Start session is facilitated by the U of S and will show new students and their parents how to  register for their classes, organize class schedules, housing options, transitions programs, and more. Students may go online and register with the U of S for the U-Start session.

What is Engineering?

Students, professors, and engineers from the U of S, U of R, and APEGS (Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan) will present the different fields of engineering and the programs available. The day-long event is on Tuesday, October 8th at the U of R, and Friday, October 11th at the U of S. For more information, please see Mr. Corcoran.
